New Governor of the Bank of England

Her Majesty the Queen has approved the appointment of Mr Mark J Carney to the office of Governor of the Bank of England. Mr Carney is the Current Governor of the Central Bank of Canada and Chairman of the Financial Stability Board. He will take office on the 1st of July 2013 and leave in 2018.
