Life Peerage for Former Chancellor of the Exchequer
The Right Honourable Alistair Maclean Darling has been granted the title of Baron Darling of Roulanish, of Great Bernera in the County of Ross and Cromarty. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords for Labour.
